Bulk (96kg/211lbs) vs. Shredded (88kg/194lbs)
I have put a tremendous amount of work into both these physiques.
Dedication, motivation, persistency and consistency are needed for both of them.
Moreover, my workout routine stays the same. All that changes is my diet!
For many people, their diet is main factor standing between them and their dream body. Even for me it is hard to stay on and follow my diet consistently over a long period of time.
But over time I have learnt 3 key things that helped me stay on my diet.
Those are: preparation, simplicity and supplements
Prepare your meals ahead of time! Coming home from the gym or work late, no one wants to cook. Therefore, you are more inclined to eat your meal if its already repaired and you only have to heat it up. Moreover, you are not so tempted to eat something else.
Keep your meals simple and have a go to meal that you like and that is easy and quick to repair.
For example my go meal is pasta with a can of tuna à Very high in protein, a quality source of carbs and very little fat.
Supplements are there to make your life easier and increase your performance in the gym. That is why they are so important! They help you stay on your diet and reach your goals in the gym.
