I'm baaaaack. 8 weeks out from @europasports Orlando. I've been doing my fasted cardio for two weeks now and already see myself getting leaner. Keep in mind, if you are going to do fasted cardio, supplement with BCAA's before, during, and after. 35 minute stair climber circuit: down. Glutes and hams tonight. 'Lil bit of delt pump tonight. Almost, ALMOST, got the 40s in db press. I know I can rep them out, I just can't get the lift off that I need 😩 Maybe next time. I've been concentrating on posterior delts a lot lately so today I did: πŸ’ͺ db press 4 x 12, 10, 8, 6 πŸ’ͺ Arnold's 4 x 10, 10, 8, 6
πŸ’ͺ lateral delt raises dropset. 5 x 12 for each weight. Today I used three different sets of db's when I usually use four.

Two things I already know: ☝️ my camera sucks. ✌️ the lighting in my apartment sucks. I'm not going to stand in the middle of the locker room, surrounded by girls, to take selfies so this is what I'm left with. Glutes and quads today. Ladies and gents, I know everyone preaches "heavy" but I say, high reps! You want that muscle to grow? BURN IT OUT. I do over 100 squats to BEGIN my workout. Not to mention, my research (and experience) shows that high reps have allowed for more growth. Try it. I had numerous people approach me today telling me that my quads and glutes have grown significantly since I've started competing. How? Legs 3 days a week and high reps. I need to rant and if you disagree, I'm sorry. But I am sick and tired of hearing about girls who won't eat this or that, are on like 1000 cals a day, with an hour of cardio. Or those that won't eat carbs, or enjoy a cocktail. How about those that restrict themselves so much because they are terrified to gain any weight. And more importantly those that are guilty of the above and coaching others! Mind = blown.
This is not healthy. And isn't that why we all claim to do this? To be "healthy"? Well guess what, restriction isn't healthy. Everyone seems to make health and fitness out to be SO complicated and difficult, uhm, it's not. Eat mostly whole foods (70-80% and macros according to your goals), work out, do a little bit of cardio. That's it. It's that easy. I never restrict myself from anything that I desire, because no matter how much passion I have for competing and fitness, I love my life and my health more. So love your life, and please, LIVE it.

Excuse my really attractive facial expression 😟 Absolutely dominated glutes and hams today. Was hoping to take a legitimate progress photo but the locker room was crawling with girls trying to do the same thing, so I just gave up and walked out. Straight legged deads, leg press high and wide, hamstring curls, glute kickbacks, adductor, abductor, and finished off with some glute/ham bridges. I don't think I'll be walking in 24-48 hours. Today was a heavy weight day. Phew. Time for sleep because that exhausted me, which equals a damn successful leg day. πŸ˜΄πŸŒ™ #pleasedontbeaninsominactonight
