Thank you @zenvision for hash tagging this amazing shot along the California Coast! ・・・
The stretch of coastline from Gaviota to Point Sal in Santa Barbara County is one of the most undeveloped, remote areas in SoCal. The area is largely comprised of the Hollister Ranch which is privately owned and inaccessible by car. However, my thirst for adventure compelled me to explore some of this area by foot, following the train tracks that run through the area. I discovered what appears to be a "secret beach". After walking on the train tracks for awhile, I saw a little path down through the waist high grass that led down to a remote beach. I found this amazing "eye" at the other end of the beach. One of the things I love about California is the vast amount of nature and remote, wilderness areas. There is always something new to explore! I've passed this area like a hundred times in the past 5 years when I'm en route to various places up north but this is the first time I explored it! Glad I did because I found a whole new area to explore!
