I'm fine, photo explanation incoming! // Sorry I've been so absent from IG lately; finals week has been kicking my ass. I've also been feeling exceptionally shit so that's not helping, haha. It's probably just stress. But I got a QSART today! It's a test to see whether my small fibers are affected and causing some of my symptoms. Hopefully the results will be useful to my treatment. This was such a fun test- it was the easiest one I've ever done, and as a bonus, I got to lie down. I almost passed out checking in at the hospital desk so getting the chance to rest calmed my dysfunctional autonomic system down enough for me to walk unassisted to my car after. I'm glad about that; I hate having to ask for help, and while I'm not in great shape, I've been more and more involved in athletics lately. Mostly skating. But that involves being in good enough shape to walk, so it's frustrating and embarrassing when that doesn't happen. But yeah, it was super easy, and for once I was on the receiving end of electrodes, so that was cool. I realized I don't talk much about the actual testing and treatment I've done for my illnesses. I might start sharing more of that. It's a part of my life and I think only good can come of sharing stuff like this in case anyone can see it and feel less alone. Anyway, I hope you're all doing well!
