So .. cardio.. cardio is a bitch I know I know... I used to avoid cardio like boiled onions ( really really hate boiled onions) ..but now I know its absolutely necessary either in cut or bulking to keep your body fat in check or even to allow you to eat more!
In a cut cardio is like a macro saver, allowing you to eat more food and staying fuller retaining more muscle mass.
But Im not talking about 1h on the treadmill chatting with your pal.. do cardio like you mean it! LISS, MISS OR HIIT mean it, give all you need to give in that moment πŸ’ͺ .

#throwbackthursday to when I fucked my metabolism after a crazy ass diet...😩 I learned the hard way how IMPORTANT IT IS TO REVERSE DIET and not go all out after a cut, especially an aggressive one! πŸ©πŸ• After a competition you should have that day where you can eat whatever you craved for during your diet, but please get yourself together and start reverse dieting the following day! It is so easy to regain fat afterwards if you go all out on food, and your metabolism doesn't recover at the same pace.. You need to slowly get back to maintenance calories while also slowly decreasing your cardio always controlling your weight to avoid big jumps. Aim to increase carbs from 5 to 10 gr a week and decrease 20-30kcals from cardio/week until your left with only 10-15 min ( 150-200kcals). And above all be patient!!! πŸ’ͺπŸ™ .

This one felt good! πŸ‘ŒπŸ˜Š First time squatting in months! Maybe a year? Since my lower back injury last year I haven't step into the squat rack even once, using the leg press and variations instead in my leg workouts.
But... Squat is Squat.. πŸ’ͺπŸ’₯ and I feel pretty much recovered and ready to put some weight on my back again! Lets start slowly, getting the groove back making sure that FORM IS ALWAYS SUPERIOR TO WEIGHT! 100kg for 12 reps in the vid.. lets go again! πŸ™ .
