For the past six months I've been taking home an extra bottle of water for anyone who looked like they needed a little extra hydration. On my way home after a rough day I noticed a man on the side of the freeway exit with a sign that said, "homeless, anything helps." And for anyone that knows anything about me knows that I NEVER have cash even if my life depended on it... But today I found a surprise in my pocket, so I decided to cheer someone up even if it was only 5 dollars. Just as I roll the window down the gentleman asks me, "hey that's a beautiful color is that fashion grey by chance?" This took me by so much surprised I'm sure I would have fallen backwards out of my chair if it wasn't bolted to the floor already. Slowly nodding like a dumbass I handed him my little care package and as the light turned green he shouted, "I used to have a 2012 911 GTS guards red with black and red stitching!" I wanted to stop and sit down with him but felt the angry idling noise of the 10 cars behind me and was forced to leave. The rest of the drive home was music off and reflecting on all the things I could be thankful for having because this man was once where I was if not better off. So no music from the rolling cayman radio tonight, just wanted to remind myself and everyone else around me to be humble, be thankful, and appreciate, appreciate, appreciate, EVERYTHING.
