I just came out to my cousin.. holy fluff I did it 😥
I'd been meaning to tell her for a while because I felt like she'd be more accepting than my mum, but I was afraid to tell her because I knew she'd been brought up Catholic and I didn't know how she'd react.
Anyway she reacted really well and said she was fully supportive. I told her that I wasn't straight, and she's the first person in my family I've told about my gender. I didn't say I was genderfluid, but I did tell her I don't feel like I'm a girl.
I'm so so relieved, I'm surprised I didn't cry! Afterwards I gave her probably the most genuine hug I've given her in a long time. Like usually when I meet with family, I give them an awkward hug, but that one was very very real.
