“And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.” Romans 12:2.
You don't have to be clinically depressed to experience moments of sadness or hopelessness. When you start to feel these emotions , don't give them time to take root & fester, immediately pluck them out of the fields of your peace. Left unattended, these thoughts of depression can even lead to suicidal thoughts. My Pastor taught us that the MIND is the devil’s playground. If we allow him to plant seeds of sadness, depression or hopelessness in our mind, it will take root and start to fester & grow. What you focus on expands. It will cause you to sink deeper and deeper into a dark space that is very difficult to climb out of without professional help. #FAITHPRENEURS we are not exempt from the attacks on our mind but we have the tools needed to pluck any seeds of depression that may attempt to gain access to our mind. God’s word is our weapon of defense. When you feel like depression is trying to attack your mind, FIGHT IT! Don’t stay in isolation. Tell someone, seek help and get support. Don’t try to do it on your own. Each day comes with its own blessings and challenges. I use my 4Ps to get through each day and keep my MIND focused on God : PRESS, PUSH, PRAY & PRAIZE! Feel free to do the same.
