Lunch Q&A this Friday on @reddit.

MADISON. See you tomorrow morning.

ON A WHAT? Beer run? Blind date? Snipe hunt? In the publishing industry, we call that sort of crop a ‘cliff-hanger.’ You’ll just have to come to this afternoon’s event to find out how the pamphlet copy resolves.
@raintaxireview’s Twin Cities Book Fest is today and I’m on at 3:30. #tcbf2018
See you at the fair(grounds).

Emails flying, getting ready for next month’s UK TOUR with @abywolf and @matthewsantos. Exchange rates, travel itineraries, productions schedules, and the perennial challenge of international merch-schlepping. If you’re traveling to Glasgow or London in the next couple of weeks and might be game to toss a box in your bag, holler? Happy to trade for guest list spots, free stuff, and a round of drinks.
Also, if you’ve got friends living or visiting the UK in early November, tag em to let em know? Brilliant.

See you tomorrow, Ann Arbor. Me and @patticakespatticakes are Q&Aing live at the library. If you’ve got friends in the neighborhood, let em know?

Heyo, @abywolf has a big show on the calendar this month. If you live in Minneapolis (or can make your way there by the 17th), this would be the gig to hit. @pfunctionary. Link in @abywolf’s bio.

Incredible shadow work from @lizhowls and @goodnightrainbow this past weekend at Orchestra Hall. (You guys were on time, on the mark, and on point with virtually no support from a hair-on-fire, pre-show me. Killer stuff.) Shot by @keeganburckhard.

Hello, I’m Dessa—better known as the human body that held The Cape aloft during its headlining set at Orchestra Hall this weekend.
The Cape isn’t fielding press requests at the moment, but I’m authorized to answer a few questions on its behalf.
First, the cape was designed and sewn by @joynoelle.atelier, who works out of her own workshop in South Minneapolis.
It fastens around the neck with a Skeleton Key latch (which you can swipe to see) and the hood is lined with black satin.
The length of the train depends on how tall you are, but for this human wearing her own boots, it trailed for an elegant two feet or so.
The Cape is definitely *not* retiring after its run with the @mn_orchestra. For now, it’s my casual weekday cape, but I expect it will return to stage lights with new material in the not-too-distant future.
Thank you,
The offices of The Cape.

Gah, she’s cool. @sarahhicksconductor , with her instrument and a grateful co-star.
