If you happen to be in France and more specifically in Avignon you should pay their cool store a visit.

Throwback Thursday! In 2012 Erika Gunnerblad was one of the students at Beckmans College of Design that got her design produced at glassworks Vet Hut in the deep forests of Småland. Her Memory Capsule consisted of wooden boxes with a glass lens as a lid. The lens enlarged the small things you put in there, focusing in on your memories.

Our focus this year has just like last year been on plant life and bringing nature into the urban home. Flower Pot Stand by Sara Szyber is a perfect example of our green philosophy. It's discrete yet stylish design lets you create that perfect still life and experiment with different plants and design objects.

Design House Stockholm work with both established and unknown designers. Our focus is on developing great products rather than name-dropping. Our ambition is to gather a collection of the very best Scandinavian design today. The term ‘Scandinavian’ refers to a philosophic and aesthetic perspective, rather than geography and nationality: we have French, German, Australian, American and Chilean designers in our network. Anders Färdig, founder and CEO, often stresses the fact that the core of the company are meetings we have with people and designers. Here he is talking about our philosophy at our first pop-up store at Homeless & Sidekick in Hong Kong, 2015.

Wood anemones, coltsfoot, daffodils and forget-me-nots. Jonas Wagell has designed
little glass vases with different shapes for nature’s smallest flowers.

Blonde on blonde.

Dinner set made of new bone china. Consists of different cups, saucers, plates and bowls. Blond was designed by the Reliefgruppen under the leadership of Signe Persson-Melin, Sweden’s first professor of ceramics.

We wish you long and beautiful summer nights in your garden, on the porch or balcony. 📸: @thewatchco

Just like a vase needs flowers to come alive, Magazine Table needs books and papers. Put you coolest art magazines in it or why not those nice atlases you like to explore before going to bed. Wake up and roll those atlases to your cosy sofa and continue to explore. Or not. We don't really know if you like atlases. But if you do, Magazine Table is the place to be. If you're an atlas.

The Swedish summer haven't really offered many beach hours this year. It's more likely you cuddle up in your favourite sofa or easy chair with a good book. I know that's what I'm gonna do for the next couple of days anyway. Just wish I had cute dog like this that could join me 😻📸: @padlifestyle
