Ann Wåhlström’s Deco collection for Design House Stockholm consists of cylinders in three sizes decorated with graphic images. Ann took a selection of drawings with her to Design House Stockholm with an idea bout translating both the patterns and the feeling into ceramics. “Normally the drawings act as models for my glass objects. I make a series of drawings prior to starting work in the hot-glass workshop. But now I thought that one might be able to copy my drawings directly onto the porcelain”, Ann explains.

A kitchen device used since ancient times. Looking back at history, Jessika Källeskog wanted to reshape tradition. She thought of a different form, a calmer motion. Tondo is both sculpture and tool. It’s something completely unique and yet very familiar. Tondo is a mortar & pestle!

The Pleece throw is made by a unique blend of 75% polyester and 25% viscose, that sets it apart from other fleece fabrics. Also, the pleating process gives the fleece extra volume and softness. The fabric retains its pleating after washing.

“I am always surprised when digitalized meets a more traditional craft and over the years I have created a large number of patterns that I showed to Design House Stockholm. And we rapidly decided to collaborate”, Gábor Palotai explains. The result of this collaboration is Urban Landscapes, a graphic collection comprising four cups with different graphic patterns. The first patterns in the series are studies of urban life in major cities with names like Downtown, Pattern, Overview and Detail.

Three jackets or one bicycle? The Arrow hanger can support 20 kg when retracted, when closed there are still three hooks on which to hang various items. When not in use, Arrow will adorn the wall like an iconic graphic symbol, or you can create various patterns using several hangers. Gustav Hallén found inspiration in the foldable mast ladder of a sailing boat. Arrow was awarded the Red Dot Design Award in 2009.

A garage lamp for your living room. Designer group Form Us With Love has given new life to the anonymous construction lamp — a functionally perfected product to be found everywhere; all that was needed was to give it a better appearance. Available in chrome or 24 K gold plate.
In 2007, Form Us With Love began working on anonymous lights used in garages and workshops, always handy and within reach in a dirty and greasy environment. Hanging from the ceiling, standing on the floor, or lying on a table.

Now available in grey.

A raised pattern of dots and stripes adds tactility and visuality to a classic design. Blond is made of new bone china, and consists of different cups, saucers, plates and bowls. The dinner set was designed by the Reliefgruppen under the leadership of Signe Persson-Melin, Sweden’s first professor of ceramics.

Lisa Hilland’s Torso is the chair, which like a bare torso, can be dressed. For 2018 she has expanded the collection with a bar stool and a lounge chair. The woven leather back is inspired by the traditional hunter chair and gently flirts with Swedish craft traditions. The chairs are modest in their expression yet they are visually striking with their woven leather detailing.

The rug (Basket) designed by Lena Bergström is entirely made by hand. The special technique of hand-tufting in different directions enhances the three-dimensional feel of Basket. Several threads in different colours creates the desired lustre. The rug is then carefully cut by hand into a tromp l’oeil graphic pattern that pays homage to Swedish handicraft traditions such as birch bark baskets and rucksacks. Sharp angles and soft transitions play the roles in a shadow play that is both illusion and reality. Here beautifully styled by @joannalaven
