Hi guys!!! Imagine that you're walking down the street on a sunny Sunday afternoon and you stop at a charming ice cream cart where you ask for a cone of your favourite flavour, lick it and reach out to pay for it. Suddenly, your hand goes limp, you can’t swallow the ice cream so it starts to dribble down from the side of your mouth. You try to wipe your messy cheek but your hand goes the other way and you lose grip of your coins. Your body begins to seize. It is all very confusing, and then you realise with horror that your nicest dungarees are soaked because you have wee-weed and you didn’t even notice! Then, your legs which felt okay are now very stiff, so you topple over and you try to shout for help but find that you can’t even call for your girlfriend or your bestfriend or even your mummy because you have lost control of your tongue. Okay, okay, stop imagining. I’m sure you get the picture.
My name is baby Nathan. I am 3yrs old and I am a cheerful and handsome little man who makes my mummy and daddy very happy. But all the things I told you to imagine above have happened to my little body at some point or another. Sometimes most of them can happen at once. My doctors who charge lottsa money tell me that I have Spastic Quadriplegia Cerebral Palsy. I really want to go to India for Stem Cell Therapy Treatment which is a gazillion times more expensive or I will be like this forever and ever. Please help my lovely parents to take me to India and make my life better by:
A) Sending your contributions to MPESA PayBill Number 891300 (account number 12254)
B) Coming to the ‘In My Shoes’ festival at Mavuno Hill City Campus Nairobi (Entry Fees. KES 1,000) on 9th July 2017 from 1PM-5PM
C) Buying beautiful and colourful t-shirts with positive messages at KES. 700
Thank you so much for reading my story. Next time I will tell you about Stem Cell Therapy Treatment and how it will make my little body strong like the Incredible Hulk!
