A massive Thank you so much for all the Birthday love. I feel humbled and blessed that I have so many loving family and friends.
This year wasn't quite the same as it was my first birthday without Mum. There isn't a day goes by that I don't miss her with all my heart and today started out extremely emotional.
Instead of always thinking of my bloody self on another birthday day... I decided to do something different this year and volunteer my time to help pack up 200 boxes of medical supplies for M.A.A (Medical Aid Abroad) run out of Greenlane hopsital , which my Mum and Dad have been volunteers at for many years. It was awesome working alongside my Dad and so cool to know the boxes we packed today will be sent to Zimbabwe which may in fact supply a small hospital. Please don't give me credit for any of this as I went one day out of volunteers I met today that have been doing this for years. Made love and respect for them.
Finally even though this last year has been extremely challenging with a season of loss and sorrow it has brought our little family closer together and I can't help but feel grateful for God's daily blessings which sometimes I have to search for or open my mind to see.
Here is a little pic of one of my fav bday photos of my Mum, Sister and I on my 3rd birthday. Oh what an amazing Mum she was... my ultimate woman of worth!
