I've been consciously working on not letting my emotions control me.
It's something that I've always struggled with, because my passion can cause outbursts of all types of feelings, but I've recently set aside time to really evaluate how I react to a variety of uncontrollable situations.
1) Controlling my reactions is way fucking harder than I would have thought, but the outcome is worth the effort
2) I fail here and there on this journey, but every situation is a teachable moment, and they're becoming less and less
3) Everything begins with a strong mind, and the more you can tap in to that and take control, the happier you'll be
I've found that I've never been happier than I am when I'm in full control of my reactions, and although hard in the beginning, the practice of simply letting go has been one of the most freeing things I've ever done.
Free yourself from yourself and watch the world open up.
