#repost from @orbdent 🇬🇧HOW TO PREVENT CAVITIES🇬🇧 .
The weekend is coming, an sometimes it comes with some extra sweets 🍰🍦🍫🍬 But we’re not the only ones invited to the party 🎈🎉, the bacteria in our mouths are having a feast as well, and they’re getting a sugar-overload and produce an acid that causes cavities.
Luckily for us, it takes some time before the cavity is big enough to require drilling & filling (&billing!). And the best part is that it’s almost entirely preventable!
⭐Eat and drink less sugar .
⭐Eat maximum five-six times a day so the teeth can rest in between meals (yes, a ☕️ with🥛 does count as a meal!) .
⭐Floss before you brush your teeth .
⭐Brush your teeth with fluoride toothpaste, about 2 cm (NB! Kids should have less!) .
⭐Brush your teeth for TWO MINUTES, both morning and evening .
⭐See your dentist or dental hygienist regularly according to your needs .
