🔴THE RIGHT WAY TO DETOX🔴

🔢Detoxing is such a massive buzzword nowadays. Thing is, our bodies have always been able to detox by themselves. It's one of the many amazing things our bodies can do.

🇺🇸Even before there was a bajillion different detox supplements or detox teas or any of that stuff, our bodies were still able to detox just fine by themselves.

⛲So ditch the gimmicks and pills and instead focus on a couple of basic things that, if you're spending any time on my profile or profiles like it, you're probably already doing this stuff anyway.

💍First up - get active. It doesn't matter how. It could be the gym, running, cycling, hiking, swimming, surfing, dancing - doesn't matter. Just get moving.

💏Water. Proper hydration is so important. Make sure your getting enough every day to flush all the bad stuff out while helping with improving energy levels, mood and overall health and performance.

🍾Fruits and vegetables. Fruits and veggies are loaded with vitamins, minerals and fiber - all of which plays a huge part in detoxing your system to help you perform at the best possible level. Make sure you get a variety of both in every day.

👰So next time you make yourself a cup of detox tea, throw it in the bin, dance your way over to your fruit and veg market, load up on some goodies and wash it all down with some high quality H2o.

There was a point where deadlifts were becoming a struggle for me but they've started to turn the corner, feel a lot more comfortable and a lot stronger.

225kg for 2 in this video and I could've got a sneaky 3rd if I wanted to push it. I'm feeling a lot more comfortable in my set-up, my grip, execution and overall strength.

To be hitting this weight with 7 weeks still to go is something new for me, I wouldn't normally go this heavy yet but I'm determined to bring a big number to the platform in November.

More deadlifts from this week and it was 3 x 3 to wrap the week up with 210kg on the bar. -
Body felt a bit beat up from some great training this week but these still felt fairly comfortable. Lots more still to come in the coming weeks as the @100rawidfpa Push Pull gets closer.

Back working hard on my deadlifts recently trying to bring them up to scratch with the @100rawidfpa Push Pull not too far away.

I'm hoping to bring a big number to the platform in November. So training started strong with a 212.5kg double to start my training block. -

Best comp memory: Push Pull 2017 is a standout because I needed to pull a 250kg Deadlift which I'd never pulled before to win and I got it. Never tough with a deadlift like that before but I got it.
Also, all the many, many battles I've had with Gavin Meenan (@fitnesswithmeenan) over the years were incredible.

Favourite venue you've been to: I've always loved going to ABS - the atmosphere there is always incredible and Maximum Results in Galway is another favourite of mine. -
