Cozy is the new grand! No home is too small that one more can not be invited. - @jenschmidt_beautyandbedlam #justopenthedoor

Happy book release day, @CandaceCBure! You inspire and encourage us to pursue our dreams with perseverance.
Candace Center Stage is the story of a little girl who loves to dance. But when her mother signs her up for ballet lessons, she quickly realizes she’s no ballerina. As Candace moves and grooves across the floor, she topples all the ballerinas in her path. Her teacher, Miss Grace, tries to teach her proper ballet positions, but Candace is more interested in shakes and shimmies. On show night, Candace’s tutu is tailored and her bun is beautiful, but her tummy is a rumbly mess. When disaster strikes onstage, Candace steps up and saves the day by doing what she does best––being Candace.

With school, work, and projects in full swing, the daily demands of our busy schedules can be high. While the return to routine is a seasonal necessity of life, it’s easy to slip into an overload mode without realizing it. How can we enjoy having a full plate without feeling overwhelmed? Here are 2 tips for how to manage a busy life:
1. When our hearts are at peace, our schedules will follow... It’s easy to be tempted to rush through daily tasks without first spending time alone with God, especially when the appointment calendar is calling. God may call us to lead a busy, full life as His servants, but He doesn’t call us to skip over our time with Him. Keeping my heart at peace with Him provides a peaceful attitude, even when the daily demands are high.
2. When we remember that eternal issues matter most, we'll be more mindful of each "yes"... If people-pleasing is a part of your DNA, sometimes saying “yes” one too many times becomes the straw that broke the camel’s back. Use the following two questions to help you choose your activities and appointments carefully. Ask yourself 'Will this activity or appointment have lasting impact?' and 'Is this a one-time or long-term commitment?' Asking the Lord for guidance as we look at our schedule of activities and make daily decisions is a wonderful way to help us remember that ultimately we desire His will and not our own.
While God may have called you to a busy life or even a busy season, He didn’t call you to do it alone. When your schedule starts to speed up, don’t forget to lean on Him for the strength and guidance to tackle what lies ahead. He can transform what looks like a crazy, hectic day into many peace-filled, beautiful moments!

Come Thou Fount of every blessing, tune my heart to sing Thy grace
Streams of mercy never ceasing, call for songs of loudest praise
Teach me some melodious sonnet sung by flaming tongues above
Praise the mount, I'm fixed upon it, mount of Thy redeeming love
Oh, to grace how great a debtor daily I'm constrained to be
Let that goodness like a fetter bind my wandering heart to Thee
Prone to wander, Lord, I feel it, prone to leave the God I love
Here's my heart, oh, take and seal it, seal it for Thy courts above

You are brave. You are a mighty warrior disguised in lip gloss and jeans. You are a force for the Kingdom. Someone who prays and believes. Someone who tends to the wounded and lifts up the weak. Someone who speaks the truth to trembling hearts. Someone who knows that love and kindness are the strongest of weapons in this gone-mad world.
You are making a difference. It’s a myth that world-changing is big and bold and loud. We see in Jesus that it is more about a hand on a shoulder, a gentle word spoken, a bit of attention given to the one everyone else might have overlooked. It happens in the ordinary and the everyday and the sometimes invisible. What you do matters more than you can know, more than you can possibly see this side of eternity.
You are loved. This is true not because of what you do but because you are you. You have worth not because of a position you hold or any performance you give, no matter how important or wonderful. You are treasured and valued first and always because you are the one-of-a-kind creation of a wild and creative God. He gave us such a gift when He dreamed you up. We see Him in your smile, hear Him in your laugh and see His image reflected in the details of who you are. You don’t need to be like anyone else. We are so glad that you are simply you. - @HolleyGerth #MinistryAppreciationDay
