Tonight was my final shift at Old Salt Marketplace. I would like to thank each and every one of you that has made this past two years amazing, and know that I could not have done it without you. I have grown so much while working here and feel grateful to of had such great mentors as @benngristle and @benjaminschade I never took for granted that I was working with the best meat and produce in the city and you taught me to respect the product and the hard work that went in to getting it to our restaurant. Thanks to @misszumsteins for keeping me caffeinated (always too much) and putting up with my shenanigans over our awkward partial wall, you guys rock my socks. Also, @pizzajerkpdx for supplying us with amazing pizza when we needed it most. Then there's @maepdx , y'all have been such a pleasure. It has been the highlight of my week for the past year and a half when you are cooking in the back. To be able to have a taste of Dixie whenever I am missing home has saved me. I can't wait to come in and eat it hot and proper. Northeast 42nd is truly a special little community that takes care of its neighbors. Thanks for letting me be a part of it, I am truly humbled by the talent on this street. I promise I will bring this spirit to my next venture and come back to visit whenever I can.
