Happy #tieduptuesday everyone!
Today's TUT is brought to you by the letter F - for Failure. What you see before you are two photos that I never released because I hated how they came out. The first one is fairly recent. The model, a good friend of mine, graciously allowed me to tie her up in tons of purple rope. Well...try to, at least. In the end, it was apparent that I needed more practice with rigging - the photos came out sloppy and unusable (I'm lucky my friend had so much patience with me). Y'all have no idea how disappointed I was. It was supposed to be THE BEST one I'd ever done, and it ended up being one of the worst.
The other shoot was supposed to be amazing. I had a really nice outfit picked out and everything planned out to the tiniest detail - except, the outfit didn't fit, and I didn't have a backup plan. Not wanting to completely waste my time or the model's, I did this quick shoot. I'm not particularly proud of it. The rigging is simple and the shots are overexposed.
I wanted to post this to show y'all that for all of life's successes, you're going to have some failures now and then. Despite my failures and shortcomings, I still manage to get in some really awesome shots from time to time. Failure can be disappointing, but I'm thankful for the opportunity to try and succeed. It makes my hobby, and my life worthwhile.
