💙700 Pregnancy Miles💙
I never dreamed I would be able to accomplish such a milestone so early in this pregnancy BUT I always remembered that WE ARE CAPABLE OF AMAZING THINGS!!! The struggle I have experienced with this pregnancy is what has truly made me stronger than ever. Throughout the early stages of pregnancy I was in a denial that I was pregnant and kept pushing on with my training and logging many miles (definitely gave me a head start with my pregnant miles). I was prepping for my second Marathon in hopes of striving to secure my time even more for Boston. Even after finding out I was pregnant and immediately dealing with all day sickness, I still was determined to keep going with my training while keeping it a secret. After consulting with my Mom & Hubby we knew it wouldn’t be safe to run the marathon due to all my horrible symptoms. No time to feel sorry for myself I literally prayed upon it & decided with God’s strength and guidance I would give myself a challenge by running 1K pregnancy Miles.....for starters! It’s not even about bragging because I have seen all the good, bad, and ugly days of this challenge. Sure, I post just about all the Good time but just getting motivated while pregnancy along with having a toddler is a challenge in itself!
Throughout this challenge I have changed my habits:
🔹Fuel & Hydrate Properly 🔹Eliminate Fake Sugars
🔹Run 5 Days w/2 Days Rest
🔹Respect & Listen to the Body....you’re growing a Human!
🔹Have a Positive Mindset
🔹Workout for the Pure Joy of it.....celebrate each gestation week!
🔹Most importantly, Go at YOUR OWN PACE! .
Remember, you can do anything you set your mind to do.....pregnancy is a gift, embrace what YOU can do with it!!!!🏃🏼♀️💙
