Studies show that people who wake up early in the morning are not only more productive but also successful as they tend to set higher goals, be more persistent and plan for the future. Personally I find that my energy levels are so much better if I go to bed early. I wake up refreshed ready to plan my day. I usually wake up at 5.30 - 6 am every morning and by 9 am I would have had breakfast, answered emails, prepared lunch for my husband, worked out and planned my day. I just love the silence of early mornings where it is just me and my thoughts! Of course if you are a night owl, it does not mean you are doomed to fail. No one shoe fits all. A smoothie a day keeps the doctor away 💚 The festive season is here once again and I have to say that it is my favourite time of the year. I just love Christmas. It is a time to really enjoy spending time with family and friends and everyone seems to be in a happy mood. Along with all the happiness comes party season. For most of us December will be about one party after the other. You can still enjoy yourself by being sensible.
Drink alcohol in moderation. I would suggest that for every glass of alcohol you drink a glass of water. Alcohol dehydrates the body so it is important to stay hydrated.
Christmas time is when most people will tend to put on weight so don’t forget to exercise. Exercise is good for both the body and mind.
Make sure to eat your greens before you indulge in chocolates and cakes. Go for the rainbow diet where you are eating a lot of different coloured fruit and vegetables that are very good for you.
The key is always balance. Enjoy Christmas and do not feel guilty if you have a few treats. Just be sensible. Happy Thursday everyone 💚

My cooking staples. I always use fresh herbs, garlic, ginger, onion and chili pepper in my cooking. It is very important to use fresh ingredients when cooking. If you cook everything from scratch you will be in control of exactly what goes into your recipes. If you fancy a burger make it fresh yourself. The same goes for fries. The ones you buy from the shops have zero nutritional value. So learn to cook fresh meals. They not only will taste better but be packed full of nutrients. Happy Thursday ❤️

I want to stress the importance of making time to look after yourself top priority. I often get clients who tell me ‘but I don’t have time’. Well sorry but that isn’t good enough! You should make your body, your mind and health top priority. You do not want to be forced to rest when you fall ill. So take time out of your busy lives to relax and unwind. A little TLC goes a long way. Make time for yourselves by getting a massage, a facial or a yoga class. Have a great weekend 💙
