Jurgen Brune  My fault, my failure, is not in the passions I have, but in my lack of control of them.

Reminiscing on the past few days spent from the inside of a car, endlessly driving through the rain looking for wildlife. The Kruger National Park is a must for anyone planning a trip to South Africa.

Late afternoon stroll around the Lake Moraine of the Souther Hemisphere. I packed up my stuff the next morning and hitched a ride with a local to catch a ferry. I saw a Puma crossing the water from that boat. Unfortunately I didnt get the shot. But I saw it, and that’s all that really matters.

Life on Mars

We were completely exhausted, after a long day trekking to get here. I just wanted to eat and go to sleep. But then all of a sudden, out of nowhere, the moon started rising and it lit up that mountain and glacier in front of us. Normally astro pics have to be meticulously planned out, I guess this was just a lucky moment. #patagonia

I love the unique perspective that you get from aerial photography, minus all the technical difficulties and the huge hassle of carrying it around, a drone can bring an interesting approach to things that would normally seem boring.
Here’s a few of my favourite aerial surf shots that I’ve taken in Bali. #bali #indonesia #surf

It always catches my eye to see how the light bounces around these canyons and creates all those different tones. I guess it’s just a bonus that this one ends with a waterfall.

We spent the night in the jungle and woke up long before the sunrise. We hiked in the dark and started watching the waterfall appear out of nowhere in the darkness that was in front of us. It’s funny how experiences like these have turned me into a morning person.

Swimming nude underneath a waterfall at dawn is definitely a good way to start your day.

I dreamt about this place.

I read about this place, hidden somewhere in the east of Bali. It took me a bit of time to find it, but when I did it really lived up to the image I had in my head. Corridors of Giant moss covered canyons, crystal clear water, a waterfall and no one around.
Apparently if you keep going till where the canyon closes there’s a hidden cave that you’ll find if you dive under the water and surface at the other side. I never found it, but I’m sure it’s there somewhere. Maybe one day I’ll go back and try again.

It was already getting dark as we made it down to this spot. I gave @selectivevision my jacket and asked her to go stand by the waterfall. I thought she'd be miserable getting soaked like that, but she came back laughing.

Waves crashing against a lone rock on a clear night.
The rock seems further away, because of the wide angle lens I was using. In reality it was a lot bigger and so were the waves. I had to time this 30 second exposure between the sets of waves coming in. I got soaked a few times. And for those wondering, the sand is black because of the volcanoes.
