Nine months of being a mum, your mum. ❤️
The highest, purest, wildest, most honest and rawest form of yoga, our biggest and best adventure of a life time.
Motherhood might be the most spiritual part of my journey that doesn’t allow you to hide behind a gracious asana practice or fancy pants. It takes you deep down to the most heart opening feelings of love and connection but also asks you to fight a breath taking new kind of fear you never felt before. It shows you the best, the strongest, the brightest parts of your existence but also the challenges, the dark spots we still need to face. Those beautiful eyes that lead you deep down to an innocent soul know it all.
It leaves you feeling so connected and sometimes loosing and needing to find yourself at the same time. All of this is good, so damn good.
It asks us to grow and rise and takes us beyond.
Being a mum means experiencing life as it is, with all its duality and facets, the ups and downs, the kisses and bites, the good and not so good nights, the dark circles under your eyes and the warmth in your heart. That’s why some yogis assume it to be one of the biggest forms of transformation, the most spiritual practice we know – without stepping on a mat.
This is it. Life. For real! 👊🏻
