Today's Cazhj Auntie Lük is brought to you by Washday Ltd. Can you say "couture"? Yaaassss, honey, GAG! 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 😂😂😂 No but really washday is laborious but feeling clean and fresh is a nice way to spend Labor Day. And so is #masking! I've got on a DIY pore declogging concoction of cinnamon, nutmeg, and equal parts raw honey and organic runny honey with propolis. These ingredients together form a pretty good team that fights acne and reduces scars. Honey and propolis not only nourish, moisturize, and brighten but also have powerful antibacterial and antifungal properties that help to heal wounds, treat acne, and prevent further infection. Cinnamon and nutmeg boost the healing properties of honey and propolis with their own natural ability to dry out acne, reduce swelling, and lighten scars. Just what I need for my cranky skin. Oh! And ignore the turmeric in the pic. I thought to use it at first but then decided against as I'm not in the mood to deal with the staining today.
Man...I don't know if it's hormone imbalance, stress, poor sleep habits, an inconsistent diet, or all of the above, but my skin has been taking a winding, labyrinthine path towards healing. One day it looks pretty darn good, and then a day to a few days later it freaks the unholy heck out 😩🙄😒 Whatever the case may be, on top of making a vow to improve my physical and mental health, I also want to make a concerted effort to narrow down my skincare and stick to a more consistent routine for a while. As much as I want to try all the shiny new things, my skin is sending me huge flashing neon signs to slow the eff down. Le sigh. Why does my post sound like a poorly worded metaphor for life? Lol And if anyone's curious, I'm sipping on organic barley tea. It's so soothing, with it's smooth, toasty flavor and fresh-baked bread smell 🍞☕️☺️ This tea tastes like comfort.
