Terribly late to the party, but here I am! Day 5 of the #ABmidyearstashchallenge hosted by the lovely @peepingpomeranian and @mindyourbeauty. Here's a look at my toner collection:
@manyo_factory Galactomy Clearskin AHA/BHA Exfoliation Toner - A staple for me. I'm running low and kicking myself for not having a back-up bottle at hand. It's what I reach for every time on acid treatment nights. It's just a solid pre-active skin balancing toner. Lightweight, sinks in easily, refreshing (especially since I keep it in the fridge). _______________________________________
@100percentpure Purist Rose and Calendula Water Serum -- Short, simple ingredients list. Relatively scentless. Beautiful lightweight, watery gel texture. Easy to pat in and layers well under other products. Soothing, although might sting a bit after intensive exfoliation. Dries down matte. Keep in the fridge due to its natural ingredients and because it feels amazing on the skin when chilled.
@albabotanica After Sun 98% Aloe Vera Gel -- Not an actual toner, but I use it as such on days where my skin has really suffered in the heat and humidity. Too thick a layer makes for a greasy situation that's difficult to pat in. It also tends to cause other products to pill. It's not my fave, but I don't mind it.
@nooni_official Advanced Repair Therapy Radiance Turnover Peel Pads. I absolutely adore these but they're pricey, so use them quite sparingly. The pads are well-soaked in a gorgeous blemish-fighting cocktail featuring star ingredients like AHA and BHA, willow bark extract, niacinamide, centella asiatica extract, skullcap, and aloe. Gentle yes, but they do tingle just a bit. They also make for pretty decent cleansing pads, but they're small so you'll run through them quickly. Leaves my skin feeling smoother, more hydrated, and chok-chok with each use. Preferred in the PM because the essence is a bit rich.
