After working nights for seven weeks yesterday was the first day back at the gym with the personal trainer.... Pushed a full grown, lazy, man, on a sleigh and shocked myself. I didn't think I'd be able to move it, let alone push him three times. Lol! Sooooo I'm sore today. During my seven weeks, I went to the gym twice. That's two more times then I expected, so that's a plus. But, now I've gone back and feel super out of shape.
Sometimes life gets in the way of lifting (I know, excuses!), but I'd rather keep restarting than to stop trying. It took and unknown amount of tries to quit smoking, but I kept trying, and eventually I was able to change for the better. If you are not able to change a habit right away, don't get down on yourself, keep trying. Just be a better you than you were yesterday. If not, don't beat yourself up, try again tomorrow. No big deal, as long as your trying. Growth takes time and patience.
Enjoy being sore, and don't be so damn hard on yourself!!! 👍💪

I crave pizza and workouts. Lol. First I have the pizza and get tired, then I go to the gym anyways. Hit the gym late lastnight, but late is better than not going at all; and for part of it, no one was there. Yay!

After 11 days off the gym; due to work and adjusting to an evening/night schedule, I FINALLY made time to go. Worked 5:30pm till 4am, there's a snap fitness right close to the location I'm working at (which has much nicer equipment than I'm used to, it almost does the work for you, lol) so I got in and ready to go at 4:10am. I got in some legs and core, and got home for 5:30. Took a shower, and I'm having some breakfast before I head to bed. Lol. Then I get to wake up and do it all over again. Yay!!

I will not skip leg day! Ever! Now that quite a few have gone by, the recovery is quicker and the soreness isn't as bad. Keep working at it and you'll get used to the pain. Lol. The weight is going up, and I feel stronger. So we're on the right track!
