As I live day to day my heart aches for our youth.
I see so many parents unknowingly damaging such fragile innocence allbeit from learned influences we must change our means of discipline and approach.
So many young boys verbally abused by mother's. Emotionally neglected by fathers. Young girls raised by young ladies not yet women generally in the absence of a father. I'm just speaking on the 75 % I see. So I pray and every day I strive to teach my daughter patience, to teach her forgiveness, to teach her it is ok to be yourself, to question, to laugh, to observe, to be grateful and to love. We're not perfect and there's always room for improvement. I will give my daughter the tools to be successful mentally, emotionally, spiritually, physically and financially. I will raise her in a manner that is healthy for this growth, and where I am unaware I will learn. Patience, love and understanding. Teaching reason, acceptance, and accountability. Let's raise our youth to be beautiful spirits, not consumed humans...
