I used to HATE my legs and glutes... so much so that I would try to AVOID situations like going to the pool or the beach because I was so self conscious! Crazy! Thatโ€™s no way to live life! Now, my legs and glutes make me feel confident in my own skin. Having that type of โ€œtransformationโ€โ€” one that transforms not only the physical but also the way you carry yourself, how you feel about yourself, your confidence level, etc. will reap massive benefits in other areas of your life too. My responsibility is to be REAL with you, 100% of the time. We live in a world where we're seeing people's "highlight reel", comparing ourselves to their "perfection", constantly. Never feeling like our own life as good as theirs. So my responsibility is to share the GOOD, the BAD and the UGLY in life. To use the trials that I personally go through in my life and to use MYSELF as an example and a form of inspiration to help you get through YOUR trials with the most grace and positivity. So that you can remember that your life is JUST as wonderful as the people you see on socials. That is my ultimate goal.

When I was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis a few years ago, it felt like my world was crashing down around me. I had JUST found my intense passion for health and fitness, I was competing and loving every second of it. Training was my WORLD. To have the doctors look at me and say that I wasn't allowed to TRAIN anymore, to "find a new hobby"โ€“โ€“ handing me several harsh medications and prescriptions to cope with the RA... I felt so defeated. I remember one evening an RA flare was so intense that I felt like my body was filled with cement and I couldn't move. I was in SO much pain. I didn't understand what was happening to me and furthermore, WHY. Why me?! Why did this have to happen? I was so distraught.

Since my @oxygenmagazine came out, the amount of young women who have reached out to me about having RA has been overwhelming. Sharing their personal stories about their diagnoses, asking questions on how I've been able to manage my RA MEDICATION-FREE (read the inside story in @oxygenmagazine to find out! ;)) ... it's been such a blessing and so fulfilling for me to be able to share and help these young women. And I finally realize just WHY this "happened to me". So I could help them. So I could be a source of inspiration for them and give them hope about their own diagnoses.

Lately for me itโ€™s a tie between the make her lean max fat burner or the sport aminoโ€” both sooo good! The sport amino gives the perfect energy boost and electrolytes for my hiit workouts and cardio sessions.
