"Really that was the work, figuring out what it is that I want to say on my stage."—A.G.

The Miami-based artist, writer and performer, A.G. debuts a new EP, 'Zeitgeist Machine,' in a fully immersive way with lights, cameras and action. This weekend, A.G. invited the public to experience the EP through 'If you call I’ll be right with you,' a production combining music, video and theater. We sat down with A.G. to talk about how the show pulls from pop music and pop culture to create a space for engaging the self and others—a space for connection. Now through April 28, @francoisghebaly presents #CassiNamoda’s first solo exhibition in Los Angeles, 'The Day a Monkey is Destined to Die All Trees Become Slippery.' Like the show’s title—a saying in the artist's birth country of Mozambique—the works here explore the mythologies and proverbs of daily life in East Africa from the perspective of this vibrant young storyteller, who was featured in our January issue. #AbbiJacobson: “The pursuit of art on the show for my character is so similar to my pursuit of art in real life. The art and film worlds are such daunting environments in which to try to make it. I think part of the reason people liked Broad City is because it was this meta-experience of the characters being sincere, and we are. This friendship is completely real and it shows.” Tap the link in our bio to revisit Cultured's February / March cover story, 'Broad City's Abbi Jacobson and Ilana Glazer Bring the Art World Back to Earth,' by Kat Herriman. "What’s ultimately underscored is this outmoded vehicle’s capacity to convey compassion rather than merely titillate, and the many ways one can embrace the unconventional or out-of-step to express the messy and true aspects of each of our existences."—CULTURED's @jahwarriors on #AlexDaCorte's #CarnegieInternational contribution. Tomorrow | The @zabludowicz_collection opens #WorldReceivers, an exhibition focusing on the intersection of identity, materiality and politics, and featuring works by #CindySherman, #IssyWood, #IsaGenzken, #LizzieFitch, and #RyanTrecartin, among others. This week has brought with it both the start of spring, and the opening of one of the city's most anticipated new venues—#SnarkParkNYC, a setting for large-scale immersive installations and design environments and the first permanent exhibition space for #Snarkitecture, the design studio led by #DanielArsham, #AlexMustonen, and #BenPorto.
