The Connecticut Guard  Welcome to the official Instagram profile for the Connecticut National Guard. Managed by the CTNG PAO.

Congratulations to all nine of the newest members of the Connecticut Veterans Hall of Fame.
These great Americans represent decades of service to our nation and decades of continued service to their communities.
A special congratulations to Connecticut Air National Guard Retiree, Master Sgt. (Ret.) Frank Alvarado. He returned to Connecticut to join the CTANG after completing two tours in Vietnam. He has continued to support Guardsmen, Veterans and members of the Latino community among many other organizations and groups.
Thank you all for your service and for acting as incredible role models for all of our future military and community leaders.

Thanks for coming out @sonarwolfpack @liborhajek @crawldiddy14

Included in that group is the Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 192 Engineers, who spent their Turkey Day morning in Kuwait running a 5K before enjoying a traditional holiday meal in the dining facility!

Even with the war ending at 11:11 a.m. our troops continued to fight. Two soldiers from Co. M, 102d Infantry Regiment, 26th Division were among those who made the ultimate sacrifice. We were honored to be able to visit Sgt. Paul Maynard and Pvt. Albert Rossignol today to let them know they are not forgotten. #armistice100 #armisticeday #ww1 #wwi #worldwar1 #neverforgotten #neverforget
