The overhead squat is the most challenging position that an athlete is going to ever need to achieve.
A very small percentage of people can perform the overhead squat properly when they first walk into the gym. This is why it is usually the first test we use when someone walks into the gym.

This is Diana's second month here and her overhead squat has improved tremendously. We progressed to a 15 pound bar today and used a box as a contact point for her hips so she can maintain her lumbar curve and sit back with confidence.
