Happy Saturday everyone! Feeling good today. Loving how my clothes has been fitting and my energy level. Honestly, i would ideally like to be some pounds lighter but I think my body is happy with a little extra weight on too πŸ˜‹πŸ˜‰. It's all about feeling good and being healthy, not a number! Doesn't take much to workout at home! Light dumbbells, resistance bands and a yoga ball are my go-to's. You can get all of it at Target for around $50.

I just shared the right picture on my personal page (@miraclemotherhood) and couldn't help but share a comparison here. Same spot, two totally different points in life and about a 25 lb difference. Both of these were proud moments for me, but I'm so much more fulfilled now. A lot can change in a year..enjoy the journey! πŸ’™πŸ’™

#transformationtuesday and I'm sharing my story again for those who don't really know it!

Almost 2 years ago, I weighed 245 lbs. My blood pressure was through the roof and I was on the verge of being medicated for it at just 26 years old. I was lazy, always tired, suffered from chronic migraines and was just overall unhealthy. My pants were a size 16, shirts were a 1X and I decided enough was enough.

From one day to the next I completely changed my eating habits. No more salt, no more processed foods, no more empty carbs. I was going to eat clean and give my body what it deserved. I decided to get off of my butt as well and start moving with just 15 minutes a day on the elliptical in my living room.

I lost 100 lbs in a year, got extremely fit then got pregnant with my first child. I put on 30 lbs during pregnancy and after and am currently in the process of losing it again (slow process lol). I'm currently a size 6/8 in bottoms and a small in tops. My story is still developing because life happens! We all have our moments but the key is doing something about it and getting out of that place. Just dig deep and find your motivation!

Honestly I don't like too many protein anythings because they usually don't taste good. But these chips? Lawd 🀀. I had to contain myself to not eat 8 bags in one day. The picture on the right is from January on my birthday. It was a little less than a month after giving birth to my son. I was going out for the first time since he was born to have dinner with my husband. I remember feeling a ton of emotions but being uncomfortable in my body wasn't one of them. At least with everything that was going on and how hard I was being on myself, I was healthy. I don't think my pregnancy and everything I went through would've had the same outcome if I wasn't in the shape I was in. In my eyes, getting healthy is really preparing you for a bigger picture that you have yet to see. And a lot of the times, it might not even be about you but maybe a loved one who needed you healthy. Someone that is relying on you. This in itself is enough to inspire and motivate me always.

Just got home from my first day back to work and I'm drained. I'm going to try and sneak in a little workout before I crash! I've been slacking a bit with my food. I guess because my Dietbet starts in 2 days, I know in 2 days in going to be crazy strict with my diet so I'm sort of indulging a bit right now πŸ™ˆ. This is my first time actually doing the challenge myself so I'm a little anxious/nervous/excited ha. Just being honest πŸ˜‚. I'm human ya'll! Smile, move on and don't be so hard on yourselves!
