June 2016 - My stress levels were at PEAKdom. It had already been a tough year professionally, business had slowed down and shifted and I decided to give up my office in a too expensive rental market, especially with me rarely being there and clients that weren't based here that even when they visited, our meetings were always off site. I also downsized my staff. Although it made sense financially, it still felt like I was taking a step back. It was a very humbling experience to feel like having this big office space was my definition of success and now it wasn't.
I was also going through my own personal shit. So I traveled. I hit 6 countries in 2016 and maybe I could've saved that money, but I also had worked hard enough the past 6 years of being an entrepreneur I felt I EARNED it. I labeled it SELF CARE.
A year later moving out of that office was the best fiscal decision I ever made, business is at peak levels (Stella got her groove back!), producing a retreat that is popping with two others in the works for 2018, and that personal shit I was going through, I grew through. #GlowUP
With that, have a wonderful self-care weekend!
