This soothing breath practice (#pranayama) relieves anxiety... promoting calmness and mental clarity from the heart. ❥
POSTURE: Sit in Easy Pose. Place the left hand on the center of the chest at the Heart.

MUDRA: Make Gyan Mudra 👌 with the right hand (touch the index finger with the thumb). Raise the right hand up to the right side as if giving a pledge. The palm faces forward.

EYES: Either close the eyes or gently look straight ahead.

💨 #INHALE slowly and deeply through both nostrils. Then suspend the breath IN and raise the chest. Retain it as long as you ‘comfortably’ can. (But don’t make yourself pass out!)
💨Then #EXHALE smoothly, gradually, and completely. When the breath is totally out, hold the breath OUT for as long as you can.

—The home of the subtle force of prana 🌀is in the lungs and heart. The left palm is placed at the natural home of prana and creates a deep stillness at that point.
—The right hand that brings you to action and analysis, is placed in a receptive, relaxed mudra in the position of peace. This induces the feeling of calmness.
—The breath retention stimulates the nervous system, specifically our “fight or flight” response...Training our brains to react calmly in the face of challenge.
—Emotionally, this meditation adds clear perception to your relationships with yourself and others.
—If you are upset at work or in a personal relationship, sit in this meditation for 3 to 15 minutes before deciding how to act. Then act with clarity from and with your FULL HEART.❤️❤️❤️

MUDRA: Your hands are at the level of your Heart. ❤️ Close the fingers over the thumbs into fists. Press the fists together at the first knuckles from the tips of the fingers, so the base of the palms are together.

Focus the eyes gently on the tip of the nose.

1️⃣ Inhale deeply through the nose.
2️⃣ Exhale completely through the mouth with pursed lips.
3️⃣ Inhale smoothly through the mouth.
4️⃣ Exhale through the nose.

Caliber ⚡️is the ability to maintain our committed, “true” self. When we become our own directive, the psyche can fulfill the self and we can be happy.
