Our club, The Barnstormers Vintage Speed Club,
decided that we wanted to build something "different" for TROG this year. When we got our hands on an early Hudson Hornet engine, and @yeoleghost announced a rail dragster class, we knew we were onto something fun!
Our car, "The White Triangle", takes its name from the logo of the Hudson Motor Car Co. which was an inverted White Triangle.
Our race number "7X" was the code to order a crate engine from the factory "Severe Duty" department. Smart folks like Smokey Yunick knew that if you wanted to win in stock car racing in the early 1950's, you needed a Hudson 7X engine!
We have a handful of these pennants, made by @oxfordpennant to celebrate our fun on the beach. We'd be honored to share one with you for $20 shipped. PayPal to CrazyUncleHarry(at)gmail.com
