How do you make 1,000 Galloway Forager cocktails with our #hillsandharbourgin and then serve to 1,000 gin lovers at the #ginanddisco event in Glasgow, @swg3glasgow this Saturday?
Well, you start by hand picking, trimming and washing 1,000 Noble Fir sprigs, prepare 25 litres of Elderflower cordial, create 5 litres of Oleo Saccharum bitters from scratch (made from the skin of over 50 red grapefruits and dark sugar) and finally you slice 50 fresh red grapefruits to get 1,000 slices.
All we need to do now is shake each one up individually. To do that you add 50ml of Hills & Harbour Gin, 25ml of Elderflower Cordial and a dash of Grapefruit Oleo to an ice filled shaker. Add a sprig of Noble Fir and shake. Strain into a glass over ice and top with soda. To finish garnish with a sprig of Noble Fir and a slice of grapefruit.
