Spring is over but you are still sniffling and sneezing? Summer is allergy season too! Here are some tips to relieve the seasonal allergies: 1. Go shoeless at home: leave your shoes outside and you’ll track less pollen inside your home. 2. Wash your hair before bed to remove any pollen that collected during your fun day outside. 3. Close doors and windows and turn on the AC. 4. Did you know you could check the pollen count for your city? Visit https://www.aaaai.org/ . Still experiencing bad allergies? Check out the Student Health Center pharmacy for OTC allergy medication offered at low cost.

Happy 4th of July Broncos! Here are some helpful tips to have a happy and safe 4th of July! Remember to also be aware of windy areas and never light fireworks near dry grass and be aware of your loose clothing around fireworks. Lastly, let us not forget to provide a safe environment for our beloved pets! Some harmful things unprotected sun exposure can do: cause vision problems and damage to your eyes, premature aging of the skin and skin cancer! The Summer is here and it is time for picnics, hikes, swimming and running! Many of us want to bring our fur babies with us on all our adventures! However, the warm weather can be dangerous and cause dehydration, heatstroke, and serious burns. Here are some tips to help keep your best bud stay safe over these next few (and very hot) months.

Even when it’s 70 degrees Fahrenheit, y our car can heat up to 100 degrees Fahrenheit pretty quickly, Take morning or evening walks to avoid heat stroke, Protect their paws from scorching pavement, sand or blacktop. If it’s too hot for you, it’s too hot for your pet!
