I found that a lot of people didn't know about what happened to me so I thought I would let you all know!
_______________________________________________________________ -March 22, 2017: Went to the ER because I was dehydrated
-March 23: Had an MRA and saw a shadow on my brain
-March 24: Confirmed brain tumor after MRI and watch the tumor for 3 months for growth, assured it was not cancer and sent to another hospital for 2nd opinion
-April 4: 2nd opinion doctor said tumor needed to be removed and assured us it wasn't cancer again
-April 12: Met surgeon and he said can't say it's not cancer without biopsy, scheduled surgery for May 8
-May 8: 6 hour awake craniotomy surgery, speech totally messed up
-May 9: Speech therapy begins, only knew my own name
-May 12: discharged home
-May 22: Surgeon calls and reveals the tumor is stage 3 cancer with all positive markers
-June 14: Radiation and chemo pills begin
-July 4: lost my hair in chunks where radiation is located
Been a lot going on for the past 3 months. As of today, I only have 8 more days of radiation and I can't wait! It's been a long journey but I know that I will be fine. Make sure you check out all of my videos about my journey on YouTube. Thank you so much for being so supportive, couldn't have done it without you all, the support has been amazing and it does make a difference!
