This crew highlight is dedicated to one of our most stylish servers, Dash! Dash has been at our Union Square location for 6 months and has quickly become a gem to the Corkbuzz family. Her passion for wine is infectious to all she works with. Q: How long have you lived in New York? A: My love story with New York is still very new- two and a half years. But I think it’s the “happily ever after” kind of story.
Q: What is your favorite wine tip that you’ve learned from working here? A: The most fascinating thing about wine is it tastes better when it’s shared.
Q: How would you describe Corkbuzz to a stranger? A: The most humble best wine bar on the East Coast. .
Q: What is your favorite wine? A: Ah, where to begin! I am a sucker for a good Madeira and Port. And we just happen to have some extraordinary vintages. Thanks to our beverage director Ryan Totman, I can call Dalva White Port 1963 one of my favorite wines ever, followed by Madeira D’Oliveira Sercial 1937.
