This is definitely now my preferred way of structuring daily nutrition. The benefits have been vast and can't recommend this enough to anyone looking to get the very best from their body. -
Insulin regulates nutrient entry into muscle cells. If insulin is rarely elevated, the muscle growth related benefits won’t occur. If you plan a higher carbohydrate intake at times when your body is better equipped to handle it, insulin will be under YOUR control, and the body will function better.

Here's a few more reasons for using this method:

1. It allows my body to stay lean yet still perform at a good level
-
2. It helps seriously lower insulin throughout the day keeping my hormones regulated.

3. It allows me to get in more anti inflammatory greens and therefore assist in recovery and reduce inflamnation

4. It allows me to get in more carbs post workout creating a HUGE spike and recover at a much better level.

The results won't occur straight away guys, allow a few weeks for your body to adjust. If your coming from a pretty poor diet consuming lots of sugar then I would advise possibly doing a short 21 day detox to reset.

▫️H I I T▫️...I'm a strong believer in living life to the fullest, and with this week being Christmas week, i don't believe in counting calories. If eating healthy is part of a lifestyle choice, and not simply a 12 or 16 week program, then how badly you go off track really shouldn't make too much difference. If we go to the gym, & live an active lifestyle doing things we enjoy then health & fitness really won't take too much of a hit over the holidays.

The main point here, is that making positive lifestyle changes means that no matter what life throws at us really makes small set backs.
-
One of the main aspects that keeps us lean is developing a high metabolism through creating lean muscle tissue & developing a high Anaerobic Threshold. Here is a great place to start burning those fat stores!

This morning I was on the verge of feeling those initial signs of overtraining from a serious lack of recovery. 3 minutes later I literally felt rejuvenated, and has definitely persuaded me to incorporate it into my recovery protocol along with attention to better sleep, yoga, and a slight increase in macros.

I currently train 5-6 times per day, simply to get in the different skills I'm trying to improve. That's 6 hours a day of YANG, so this and anything else I can do to promote YIN, and achieve a balanced homeostasis is literally GOLD DUST!
