The Lees - Home Cooks From NYC  Brooklyn transplants enjoying suburban life in Bucks County, PA. We love to share our recipes inspired by our years of eating in NYC and beyond

Walking through that door will lead to some spectacular sights..... swipe left for a quick stroll through Oia

We know it’s a lot but get here if you can because everyday is this

Greece is unbelievable. #tlpicks #roomwithaview

Getting a little R&R with this view won’t be too difficult

It may not feel like fall, but we’re embracing it by indulging in some Mushroom Risotto and a beautiful Lamb Chop. Risotto was made traditionally with our homemade chicken stock then folding in some sautéed mushroom so it didn’t muddy then we grated some caciocavallo cheese for extra creaminess. The Lamb was scored on top then rubbed with rosemary salt pepper and garlic before being dunked in a water bath for 3 hours @ 130° then charred on our @webergrills for the edge to edge perfection. Finished with a drizzle of olive oil and fresh parsley

Wow! Over 1000 followers. We are humbled that so many of you have joined us on our cooking journey. From Brooklyn to PA we set out to show home cooking is worth taking a picture of (or can be with some love and time) and can taste every bit as good or better than the meals posted all over Instagram from restaurants. We love eating out (it’s our inspiration a lot) but recognize how hard it can be to afford. We started this page with the humble Chicken Pot Pie (and our iPhone camera) and in honor of our 1000th follower here is some Chicken Soup (with our @nikonusa thanks to our amazing friends @allenscamera). This is love in a bowl. Homemade chicken stock from the roasted bones after removing the breast and thighs for other dinners. We then thickened it with the mighty Potato and some leeks (kept it healthy). Added peas carrots celery and some reduced sherry wine and you have the base. We then roasted one of those breasts with salt pepper and thyme. Sliced and served. Of course we paired with our new obsession. Homemade 🥖 (left out and this meal is Whole30 approved) as we go forward sharing our meals, what would you like to see from us? #f52potatoweek #f52grams

This may appear to be a Simple Steak Sandwich, but it took the ENTIRE day to make. We did it all! Started out making the baguette in the morning then (while that was proofing) we made a homemade horseradish aioli, picked some lettuce from our garden, went to @milkhousefarmmarket for some incredible tomatoes, and broke out the @anovaculinary after we dusted the Prime NY Strip from @lastallaitalianmarket with our porcini mushroom spice rub. Finally, we dropped in the bath at 130° for 3 hours. To finish it off? Seared it off on our @webergrills for a great crust and toasted the bread over the coals. The end result? Dare we say.... perfection? 🙌🤤🤔😳👌👏

Yeah, we know it's Monday, but when you have these gorgeous spirals of heaven to wake up to, waking up doesn't seem so bad.

We have been craving Blueberry Pie for awhile so it was time to give in. We used mixture of frozen and fresh berries, combined with blood orange liquor, orgeat, sugar, cornstarch and lemon zest - sandwiched between super buttery flaky crust. It more than filled the void!

Brunch is sewwww *quiche*. 🙄. Happy Saturday!!!

The amount of Oven Baked Lemon Potatoes we've eaten this summer has been astronomical, but we just can't get enough. We left the skin on this time for some extra bite. Whole potatoes par-boiled and then oven roasted at 400° for about 30min before dressed in lemon juice, zest and olive oil. Easy and oh-so-good.

Jess is pretty proud of this homemade sandwich bread👏 We've been moderately obsessed with bread making and this turned out pretttttttty good. Stay tuned to our story to see what breads this Sunday has in store! 😉🤞
