Motivation. It's a very important thing. We use it in all areas of our life to break barriers. The thing about motivation is it is something that resides within us we must give to ourselves. The fuel for this can come from many different places, from drive, from purpose, from music, from positive influences, motivational speakers, books and a plethora of other sources. The reason I'm bringing this up is I got a direct message today asking me how I stay so motivated. The truth is I'm not always, I have to make myself, I have to purposely shift my physiology in a favorable direction. I wake up early with mad intention, I meditate,I do gratitude journals, I map out my day. I map out my goals. Believe me I am far from perfect, far from perfect may even be an understatement lol. I'm hoping one day it becomes habit, simply rerouting neural pathways but in the meantime every day is a conscious diligent effort to be the best version of myself. Some days are definitely better than others but regardless of anything I move towards my goals every day! This brings me to consistency, consistency is how you build these habits. One of the primary reasons this is beneficial is even on the days where you don't have the same drive or motivation or you're just having a bad day altogether it's the good habits that keep you moving forward. You push through your work, you push to your training and at the end of the day you are better for it. Whatever you're doing and where ever you want to go, don't stop. Don't quit. As cliché as it sound life is a journey so the day you lose is the day you quit. The progressive realization of your goals is what success is about, not getting there or having it but becoming the best version of yourself in the process of doing so and you keep that forever regardless of the outcome! Every single one of you reading this is here with purpose, find that purpose and share it with the world. It is a selfish thing to keep your greatest self from the rest of us, we need you! .
