"I knew I wanted to face North to try to capture the possible aurora activity, and Mount Hood seemed like the perfect setting to do so. Turns out, I wasn't alone in that thinking - I met some really great people that night, sharing the shores of Trillium Lake. The last shot I took was this 32-minute exposure, hoping to add my own little twist on the scene!" Photo: @evan_guarino | Trillium Lake, OR | #TestedTough

"Whenever the moon phases change from a waning crescent to a new moon I am always out taking photos somewhere at 3am. Sitting on the side of the river I shot 7 separate photos and left since I had work at 6 in the morning. I was happy with the turnout having cloud streaks on my left, the milky way on my right, a little bit of mountains, rocks, trees and river on the bottom. Thats why I call this photo, “A little bit of Everything”. "

"We paddled through a portion of Clear Creek, a tributary of the Klamath. True to its name, the water ran crystal clear and flirting around the rocks below we could see tiny fish swimming." - @faithevebee, Director of Toughness

"This shot was taken while camping at Big Lake in Oregon. I enjoyed seeing what I could work with while shooting with the moon out and over half illuminated, but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't ready for the new moon coming up! After a dozen mosquito bites, cold feet from standing in the lake the entire time and a minor headache from fixing the stars due to an ever so slightly sinking tripod, I think it turned out okay! I definitely have plans to go back soon with the new moon to see what I can catch then!" Photo: @m_kellyphoto | Big Lake, OR | #TestedTough
