Which jump do you like better and why? The 1st or 2nd? Same height but different styles.

Today, I was featured on a podcast and Deke (the interviewer), asked me what "Blew me up". Of course, no one really has one big "blow up" but, my "A-HA" moment was after the 2nd jump featured in this video.

At that point in time, around a year ago, I had about 10k followers. After I got the awesome response that I did from the video, I ran with that idea.

Although my page has transformed into much more than just jumping videos, I decided that today, I would stick to my roots and post some jumping videos. I realize that my jumping videos got me to where I am at today.

I admittedly stole this idea from my girl @ruba.fit When I saw her doing it, I knew I had to give it a try. Honestly, this actually felt pretty good. I kept constant tension throughout the movement and my core was engaged.

The @goatcase Dunk. I also got blasted in the face with the ball.

After watching the Dunk King last night, I am so motivated to get back on my dunking game.

I believe that I can bring an aspect to the dunking scene that is rare.

As I marveled at the crazy dunks of the athletes on the show, I was noting the average size of the dunkers. Their weight is optimized for dunking. I assume that the average weight a pro dunkers is around 175 with an average height of 6'3.

Considering that I have transitioned out of competing in bodybuilding and physique shows, I still hold an above average amount of muscle. I am 6'3 225-230lbs.

Currently, I am no where near an elite level of dunking but I know that if I work on it, I can be.

I want to bring muscle into a dunk contest. I can envision it - "the swole dunker". Are there any ex bodybuilders on the dunking scene? πŸ’ͺ

I challenge YOU πŸ‘‰ to try this and not die after the set, like I did. I think this was 21 stacks???

I've done this before but this time, I performed it on a half bosu ball which, made it SO much harder. The balance needed adds a whole different dimension to the exercise. The burn was so deep and intense. I didn't think I was going to be able to complete the whole set but, I pushed through the pain and finished strong.

Working abs usually is the worst thing ever but, staying creative with exercises like this makes it much more enjoyable. Never neglect core work, your back will thank you.

Yesterday, my best friend would have turned 15. On May 19th, we usually would usually eat eggs together (her favorite treat) and then we would go for a walk (pronounced: DOUBLE- YOU - AY - EL-KAY)

Although, it's been well over a month since I lost her, I still think about her everyday. I miss those trusting eyes that she used to give me, as seen in this picture.

She lived a great life but, I wasn't ready for her to leave so unexpectedly. She was always such a healthy girl.
