Although push-ups are usually done to target chest and triceps, none of these variations were done for that purpose. The falling push-ups target reaction time.

The arm swing push-ups are used to help increase your speed. More specifically, they target your acceleration because your arms are a huge factor in your take off. Doing these plyometric arm swing push-ups will help to increase your explosiveness.

The push-ups that I did on the 7.5lb dumbbells help with balance and core strength.

Who would have thought that push-ups could target so many other aspects of fitness? 🤷‍♂️

SEND IT! Epic dunk FAIL. 😂 This stack of boxes committed a flagrant foul on me.

All joking aside, I have found that stacking boxes like this is a good way to practice double ups because you can't push off and if you don't clear it, no one gets hurt (other than you maybe 😂). This would have been about 6'5 if I cleared it.

Side note: How many times did the ball bounce in the rim? It was up there forever.

When I post track related content, I get tons of comments critiquing my form and I enjoy that. I have never ran track in my life so, I have no idea what I am doing. I just like to have fun!

Of course, at the end of the hurdles, I had to lay the boom stick on the blocking sled. 😂

Football season is right around the corner so, I'm working on getting that speed back. Being fast is a great feeling. 🔥

Is this a chest workout or do I just need a bra? Either way, I swear I feel this in my chest. 😂😂😂

I have been doing tons of jump rope lately to increase my foot speed and explosion. I am still pretty bad at jumping rope but, I have noticed an increase in my jumping ability. I definitely recommend implementing jump rope into your workouts.

Which one is REAL? Or are they both real? Or both fake?

People often ask me, "Why do you jump?". The answer is so obvious in my mind but, I figured that I would share just a few of my reasons behind why I always jump.
___
1. I love it. The adrenaline rush and satisfaction that I get from launching my body over a 5'9 inch tall obstacle makes me feel alive.
___
2. I consider jumping one of the best workouts. It is a full body workout and it requires many aspects of fitness. For example, If someone can jump high, I bet they are also fast. I don't even lift much anymore but my body stays in good shape just from jumping.

3. I am a gifted jumper and I would feel like I was doing myself a disservice by not finding out my true potential.

So that is my "WHY". Thank you all for the continued support! I can't believe their are 100,000 people who actually want to watch my crazy antics. 😂😂😂

I just happened to be jumping out of the gym on my birthday and it really made my day that much better. I am very thankful for my abilities. I love sharing my talents with you all. 🙌

It's crazy that I took this many L's in one year. I figured instead of a cliche "look at me bday post", I would make fun of myself because, I know you guys love seeing me in pain. 😂 Hopefully, I make it to 26 in one piece.

Bodybuilder (2016) vs. Athlete (2017). WHICH look do you prefer?

I weigh about 225lbs in both pictures. In 2016, I could lift heavier because I was primarily focused on weight lifting. In 2017, I am faster, more agile, and more explosive because I focus on jumping and sprinting.

It's funny how the body's physical features adapt to your training style. Most notably, In 2016, my waist was thicker because of all of the heavy compound lifting that I was doing while in 2017, my waist is tighter and more defined from all of the explosive workouts. In 2016, I was just thicker in general because I was training the muscles more often. In 2017, my muscles are much more dense and tight because I no longer train for size.

It's fun to compare and contrast how the body changes. Which look do you prefer?

Name a better feeling than hitting a deep home run.

Hitting a bomb feels better to me than cramming a powerful dunk. I really don't know of many better feelings.
