When it comes to my diet and nutrition program I first focus on getting in as many whole food meals as possible. I add in shakes like Level-1 as needed to help me get enough calories in throughout my day. The only time where supplementation is far superior to whole foods is after intense weight training. Focusing on a solid post-workout recovery shake can make all the difference in your overall results. Utilizing the proper carbohydrates and protein after training is ultimately the difference maker.

If you are only taking protein right now post workout then I’m sorry but you aren’t going to see the best results possible. Nothing sounds better to me right now then spending some couch time with @paulaciarniello and watching a scary movie on Netflix with some popcorn! When I am having myself a higher-carb cheat meal, I wanna make sure I do everything I can to help utilize the additional carbs, to minimize how much is stored as fat. Obviously 🍿🍿🍿is nothing but carbs...But taking a good dose of Glucose Disposal Agent will allow me to utilize this extra intake of glucose more efficiently. The way GDA does this is by improving your body’s sensitivity to insulin, which is the hormone that is responsible for delivering the nutrients you consume into the cell. The more insulin sensitive you are, the more capable your body is of utilizing what you eat for energy, rather than storing it as fat. I take 3 capsules before higher carb meals. Today I spent some time with my dad at the Saint Louis boat show. We had a great time just catching up. We didn’t talk about how to solve the worlds problems or taxes or anything else. We talked simple... about fishing, boats, relationships and family. Honestly as I’m writing this reflecting about the conversation today.... not much outside of those really matter much. I’m grateful for everything I have and all the people in my life. If you read this in its entirety.... it’s because you have a place in my life. No matter how large or small that my be... I’m grateful and appreciate it!
