We’re so excited for our 13th annual Summer Institute for Climate Change Education this week! 55 educators from 19 states are joining us for 3 days of best practices on bringing climate change into their classrooms this fall. #teachclimate //
Thanks to our sponsors @avangridren and Avangrid Foundation for making this possible.

It’s been an amazing day for climate action here in Minnesota. Governor Mark Dayton proclaimed today as #MNisStillIn day and announced that our state is joining 2,700 signatories of the @wearestillin climate declaration to show that we are committed to the commitments outlined in the Paris Agreement, despite the decision of the Trump Administration to withdraw our nation. We’re also extremely grateful to share this powerful day with James Redford of @theredfordcenter! He is speaking to his experience traveling the country to discover and document the clean energy revolution happening at all scales. #ActOnClimate

Today marks one year since the Trump administration announced its decision to withdraw the U.S. from the #ParisAgreement. Cities, states, tribes, businesses, and universities have stepped up and risen to the challenge of keeping us on track with our global climate goals. We stand with them. Three years ago, we brought 10 educators from across the nation to @cop21fr to witness the negotiations and making of the Paris Agreement. These teachers became our forever champions, and as a whole our organization is inspired and energized: #WeAreStillIn, and #MNisStillIn. Join us in our work to take #climateaction this June 13th with James Redford and Will Steger. //

We’re feeling inspired by the sense of community around #climateaction at the Rally for Science in St. Paul today. Thanks to @marchforsciencemn for organizing and giving a voice to youth leaders like our very own Andrew Totz of @yea_mn, indigenous communities, meteorologists, private businesses like @askovfinlayson, and more. It’s a collective movement, and we are in this together.

Happy #BiketoWorkDay! 🚴🏼‍♀️ Last year, our team logged 1,629 miles biked to and from our office. We’ll see if we can break that this year!
