Second session of the day achieving 1,000 calories in 54 mins on the curve machine πŸƒπŸΌβ€β™€οΈall because I accidentally ate a large bag of caramel nibbles! πŸ€¦πŸΌβ€β™€οΈ 19,000 steps done today - been a long-ass day as I did a night flight and finished early this morning.
Here's to making healthy food options going forward and not getting side-tracked by one blip. Also really back into the gym so feeling much better with each day. ☺️

Back home 🏑 and first thing I did was head to the gym πŸƒπŸΌβ€β™€οΈ to get rid of that aviation bloat 🐷 and get my steps in for my #Fitbit πŸ˜„ I've achieved over 10K every day this week, which I'm happy with considering I've worked away for four of the days. Just goes to show it's easily done when you make the effort.
Sooooo lunch - syn free scrambled eggs, baked beans and tomatoes and basil 🌿
Wasn't on plan on the flight but couldn't be helped - will balance it out until my next trip πŸ˜„

Chicken Caesar salad for lunch after having oats (HexB) and fruit for breakfast. I know this isn't 'on plan' but I really don't feel the need to justify having a salad of any kind for lunch as it's much better than a burger!
Gym session done today, harder than usual due to being at altitude but still got a good bit done all the same. My fourth session since Sunday which is good going for me. Going to focus on three sessions a week and anything else is a bonus πŸ‘ŒπŸ»

Another task ticked off the bucket list - quite a few different safaris that you can do here in Johannesburg, but I have always loved horses but due to being allergic I don't usually get too close. However I packed my antihistamines especially and got to see the most unreal settings - wildlife freely roaming around (and so tamely too) in a setting which looked just like a postcard. Stunning!
Now watching a very vibrant sunset πŸŒ…South Africa is beautiful! ❀️

Bolognese pasta bake using my #hexa for 40g of @officialcathedralcity (Mature Cheddar Light) with a side of speedy rocket and tomato.
Over the past few months I definitely laid off having 1/3 speed foods with every meal and it was a bad habit to get into. I really do think the smallest of things have the biggest of influences when it comes to weight loss. I also got into the routine of having orange juice daily and would snack lots throughout the day of rubbish. But I am feeling much more like my old self now and I'm loving being more strict with myself. πŸ™πŸ» ALSO! I weighed myself on the Body Trax machine at the gym and my body fat is 32%!!!! 😱 So I'm going to be weighing on that once a week and hope to bring down that and my metabolic rate which was 31 years old! πŸ˜±πŸ˜‚ For 23 I was mortified. So back to the grind!

Starting the week with a poachie combination as it has been a while πŸ˜‹ with my #hexb allowance, tomatoes, rocket and two syns for lighter butter, alongside a fresh peppermint tea.
Despite not being 100% on plan, but thanks to exercise and damage limitation, I have still lost another lb this week. Hoping for the same again next week, which will take me back to my lowest weight that I was at a few months ago. I'm happy with a steady 1lb loss each week as I feel it is achievable, without putting too much pressure on myself, given my circumstances.

Made up for it by an alternated walk-jog and a gym session. I've realised that not every day will be perfect on SW because of my job, but instead of getting disheartened about the days where I can't be 'on plan', I will instead just eat a little wiser and less indulgently and exercise a little harder. My days off are easy so it's time to put the work in where it suits me best.
