Breakfast for Champions. Except, that’s not exactly what I’d call myself but hey, anything goes if I can get this huge plate of Nasi Lemak in my tummy, right? The stall owner looked at me like she was wondering when I’m going to stop asking her to add items in. Best was the last one - LOTS OF SAMBAL CHILLI 🌶 .
Is it odd that sometimes my body just screams for both nonsense and good stuff concurrently? I was really eager to try Fatburger’s at Novena Square after a long and tiring day of work but the queue was ridiculous even after past dinner time AND it was barely moving even after 10mins so I gave up and headed to Salad Stop! .
Couldn’t decide what to have and I just wanted to stuff my body with some healthy eats so I ordered both the Yeobo Yeobo Wrap with Quinoa, Roasted Chicken, Eggs and Mushrooms and made my own Seared Tuna with Halloumi Cheese Salad! #greedymuch? .
Been craving for this Orh Luak for so long, I decided to order both versions - Oyster Egg 耗蛋 $10 and Fried Oyster Omelette 耗煎 $5 (also cos I’m already waiting a long time, so might as well order more). Which one do you prefer? But wait. Are you even foodie enough to see the difference? 😏 .
Waited for @alonslow at the U-Turn point along Aviation Park Road (near Changi Exhibition Centre) for the second half of his 50km #SGUltraMarathon last night. As I watched the runners hit the U-Turn point one-by-one, exhausted, thirsty, mildly injured or in pain, I was actually very glad I wasn’t one of the participants. Cos it’s tough. It is tough being on a long, flat and dark road on your own. Some people haven’t even got the courage to sign up for a full-marathon, much less a 50km (or more) run. I salute all these runners for their strength and endurance. .
