These parts of the shoulders can take a lot of volume since they don’t get too involved with many lifts. Therefore, if you want to see them grow you’ve gotta blast out exercises that train them directly!

Part 2 of my arm day:
DB Skull Crushers
DB kickbacks

Just like with biceps I feel the most activation with dumbbells. Sometimes I use cables to warm my elbows up or as a finishing movement but most of the time I stick to dumbbell exercises.

Another reason I like dumbbells so much is because it allows you to work each arm independently! This allows each tricep to get as much work as the other and your more dominant side taking over

Here is the Bicep portion of my arm workout

Dumbbell Bicep Curls
Seated Hammer Curls
Isolation Curls

These are extremely simple and easy exercise that have helped me build up my arms. I like to stick to Dumbbell work because I feel a much better contraction in my Bicep than using anything else.

I also stay light on these exercises because I get my heavy arm work done in my back exercises. By staying light on the accessories means reducing potential risk of injury.

I also don’t go over the top with how many sets and reps I do for arms because I don’t want it to affect workouts for more important muscle groups such as back and chest! You can’t go balls to the walls with every muscle or else you won’t be able to recover properly and in turn your workouts will be less beneficial. You have to prioritise certain workouts in order to benefit the most!
