Started with moderate weight hip thrusts (15) super set w heavy RDL’s (12). X4
.

Moved on to 4 sets of leg press super set w single leg hack squats. Last set of presses was a majorrrr drop set. 4 plates on each side, 8 reps, then drop ONE plate at a time, 8 reps on everything until there is one plate left then finish w 16 reps. Try not to cry. .
.
Lying leg curls. Heavy, up the weight each set. Last set is a triple drop set.

Finished with cable kickbacks (20) super set w cable pull-thrus (15)

Anddd of course we did the descending ladder glute burnout to get out any ounce of life we had left. It’s banded glute bridges alternating w banded abductions. Start w 15 reps each then 14, 13... 1. That shit will have your ass on fire I’m not even kidding.

Well guys, I officially made 25 trips around the Sun! Year 24 was so good to me. I grew in SO many ways. 24 was a year of self discovery but more importantly, self INVENTION. The majority of the year, I spent in prep, working hard to achieve a goal I made in 2016. I accomplished that goal and sooo much more! I’m so thankful and blessed to see another year of life.. to have another 365 opportunities to realize and live my destiny.. .

We spent over an hour at the squat rack today and WE ALL HIT A PR! I got a SOLID 10 reps w 225 & I have these amazing ladies to thank! .

Last time I hit 225, i only got 2 1/2 reps.. ugly ones at that.. Today, I hit these cleannn. With the right support system & the right mindset you can do farrrr more than you ever imagined. I’m a STRONG believer in the “mindset is everything” mentality.. I always go into a lift with these words “THIS WILL BE EASY.” No matter how heavy or impossible something may seem.. I know ONE day it will be easy.. Next time you’re faced with a challenge, go into it saying to yourself over & over that it will be easy. Speak that shit into existence & execute. .

Now that I’m in a growing phase, i get a lot of questions on how I gain weight.. The answer is more simple than you may think..
.

I attribute my growth to the following:
.
.
1. Eating in a surplus- I don’t necessarily track my intake, but i do make sure I’m getting enough protein at least.. other than that, i eat intuitively to fuel my body for my rigorous training sessions. CARBS ARE YOUR FRIEND. I focus mostly on whole, nutritious foods butttt i don’t restrict myself from treats every now & then. Sometimes more often than i should but whatevs.
.
.
2. Lifting weights- I lift as often and as heavy as I can. I train legs 2-3x per week & upper body 3x with a couple of full body conditioning workouts thrown in per week. I used to be afraid of getting too buff & looking manly... but i think I’m okay.. lol.
.
.
3. Recovery- I admit i don’t focus on my recovery as much as I should, but i make sure i take rest days when my body needs it... usually after leg day, but i mostly just listen to my body. A good sign you need a rest day is waking up in the morning feeling like you got hit by a truck.. I also SWEAR by my night time recovery supplement from Advocare. I would never endorse something i don’t use & whole-heartedly believe in, so BELIEVE me when I say, this product will change your life. I definitely need to foam roll and stretch more and get body work done wayyy more than i do rn (which is like never) but that’s something I’m working on being better about.. .
.
Just know that whatever goal you have is going to take TIME. Be patient! Find what works for YOU through trial and error.. everyone is different so what works for Sally Sue may not work for you. But i can assure you, no one ever achieved a goal by doing NOTHING. 🤷🏻‍♀️ .

Ps: diet pills and mass gainers don’t work unless YOU DO. Just saying.. 🤓
