This past June, two of my nearest and dearest friends Josh and Dani got married. I was so honored to be part of their special day, and I got this absolute gem of a photograph out of it! I love you both! Here's to the future, once again! 📸: @shelbyjadephoto

So, since we're 5-0 so far in Paraguay, @mandyrue33 took us out for pizza! I can confirm that pizza in Paraguay is also delicious, for those curious. And if you doubt the veracity of my statement, come check out La Guitarrita for yourself! #paraguay #acparaguay2017

I thought this picture would be appropriate, because we have got our hands full this coming week! American Zonals start tomorrow, with qualification for the 2018 World Championships on the line! Check out the link in my bio for the live stream info. We play at 10:30am and 3:45pm EST tomorrow! Go USA! #acparaguay2017 📸: @lexibrantacoon
Ps: you should go follow Lexi, like, right now. She's documenting our journey to Tokyo 2020, and is doing an amazing job! Thanks Lexi!

I'm taking over the @nchpad Instagram account today! Go follow along for a behind the scenes look at a @usawr training camp!

Happy 4th of July everyone! Days like today remind me how lucky I am to represent our country. Our country isn't perfect, and it certainly seems bleak these days. But then I remember that for all the bad, there's so much good. Loving your country doesn't mean you don't want it to improve and be the best it can be. So I'm going to do what I can to make this country a good place for everyone. #4thofjuly🇺🇸🇺🇸

I really can't believe the news I woke up to this morning, that my dear friend Ken had passed away. Despite the picture, Ken was one of the happiest and best men I've ever met in my life. I met him through the world of rugby, and while we started as teammates, I'm proud to have called him my friend. Ken was a Navy airman, teacher, rugby player, beekeeper, and so much more to all of us. I watched him go from barely being able to push his rugby chair to playing in the Division 1 national championship game. He embodied everything I love about rugby, the passion, the heart, the desire to improve oneself, and most of all, the brotherhood we all share. My heart goes out to his dear wife Luanne right now. Ken, I will miss you greatly my friend, but you'll never be forgotten.

Nationals v. Cubs is a nice way to end a Monday in D.C.! S/o to @catbouwkamp for the tickets! It's no Target Field, but Nationals Park isn't too bad!

Emotional rugby post time...I'm so proud of these guys, and the hard work they put in this year. Hardly anyone gave us a chance against Phoenix, an amazing team, and we battled until the very end, and only lost by 4. 2nd place is always disappointing, but the effort and heart these guys showed was simply amazing. Special shout out to Ryan as well, who was sick all game, but played incredible. Anyway, I'm proud of these guys, and I look forward to the future!

Happy national siblings day to this adorable little guy. You might not be as cute as you were then, but you are a better conversationalist now! #nationalsiblingday

Let's go Wild! Thanks dad for the birthday present! It's nice to know the team might actually win. #stateofhockey

I'm leaving D.C. exhausted, excited, and reinvigorated for the rest of my time at Humphrey! I learned a lot about myself, D.C., and hopefully the future here. And as the terminator says, "I'll be back". #humphreygoestodc

This statute is the first one you see as you enter the FDR memorial. And it hit me really hard. As a person with a disability, and a wheelchair user, I rarely see myself represented in public, much less in public service. Yet here was one of our most influential presidents of all time, presented as he lived his life. I get nervous some times that my disability will hold me back, and that I'll struggle in the crucial aspects of professional life, such as networking, experience, etc. This reminded me not to give up. The sky is the limit, if you work hard enough. Who knows, you could become president!
