Our wonderful neighbors and friends the McClave’s have started a fund raiser to help our dear Clutch fight cancer. Here’s Elvira McClave’s words to help explain. .
“Imagine losing your 14 year old dog and then the next day finding out that your other 3.5 year old dog has lymphoma. That is the nightmare that our friends and neighbors the Hults are living through. A little background....Clutch came from a litter of puppies I fostered in the summer of 2015. One day we were taking photos outside to post on the rescue website and Chuck Hults came over to meet the pups. He immediately fell in love with baby Clutch and had to adopt him. Clutch was the perfect fit and his big brother Joe taught him the ropes. On Mother's Day, Joe passed away in his sleep at the age of 14. The Hults family had just started grieving the loss of Joe when the next day they were told the devastating news that Clutch had cancer. On Tuesday May 21st, Clutch had his first oncology appointment at the Veterinary Cancer Group of OC. Clutch was diagnosed with Stage 3-4 lymphoma and recieved his first chemotherapy treatment that day. Clutch will be going through treatment for the next 6 months and as you can imagine, the cost of his treatment is significant. No one should ever lose a beloved pet due to not being able to afford medical treatment for them. I know the Hults family would greatly appreciate anybody willing to join the battle in helping Clutch fight for his life. Your help can also be given directly to the Veterinary Cancer Group of Orange County in the form of a credit to Clutch's account (949) 552-8274. All of the money will go direclty to pay the ongoing treatment that Clutch will be recieving.” We the Hults family are so grateful ❤️ for the kindness of friends during this challenging and emotional time. Clutch say thanks as well 🐾 ❤️ link in my bio. https://www.gofundme.com/clutchs-cancer-fight
